I use my expert knowledge in Microsoft Power Automate to implement automated workflows, saving countless hours of valuable labor. I not only develop, but also enjoy teaching others how to create their own automated workflows.
Strong skills in building intuitive reports in Power BI or Excel with a focus on enabling more efficient management, strong accountability, and effective performance indication.
If there is a time consuming, non-value-added process producing waste, I can find an innovative solution to improve it. Simple, digital, creative solutions are not only my specialty, but also my favorite.
After leaving a local tech startup to start my new career at Woodbridge, I quickly began to learn the countless opportunities for innovation in a manufacturing environment. While still focused on typical manufacturing engineering tasks, the majority of my time was devoted to migrating the plant to SharePoint and using the Power Platform to eliminate our biggest wastes through digitized forms and automation. During this stage in my career, I added digital checklists for critical machine components, created detailed performance dashboards for each machine, and added the KPI Dashboard to our SharePoint site, which was our largest ally in driving accountability.
Now armed with cross-discipline knowledge, I was promoted to Quality Engineer where I was able to double down on innovation. It was here that I began my journey into managing people and was able to teach my team to implement their own automated workflows, while I focused on connecting our new wealth of data to Business Intelligence reports. My reach quickly broadened as I also began supporting other locations that sought to replicate what we had produced.
After being asked to share my work with the Board of Directors, I was promoted to a regional position where I was responsible for driving innovative BI solutions for multiple Woodbridge facilities across the U.S. and Mexico, and now reported directly to the General Manager of the Business Unit. Here I was able to focus on standardization and best practices. I also began developing the Power Platform University, and co-founded the Power Platform Council, a group dedicated to empowering our teammates with democratized knowledge and best practices.
Just 6 months after beginning my regional support, I was promoted to Corporate Manager and entrusted with empowering our global workforce. Here, I was able to lead a team of developers and student interns to not only support our exponentially growing web of citizen developers, but also to nurture the best ideas from around the globe and help grow them into standardized systems with centralized data via our Power Platform Stage Gate. We also aided in the creation of pipelines from on-prem data to Azure Analysis Services where we could then develop and train our teammates on connecting to a flexible edge of cloud data, opening the door for innovation from the users themselves.
I'm a people person who enjoys working with others and bringing positive energy to a team. Outside of work I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, DIY projects around the house, and the occasional hike with my dog Kevin!
